2025-2026 Registration
Registration this season requires three steps.
1. Register on-line with Speed Skating Canada (SSC). Follow this link:
There are several classes of membership, please choose the appropriate one. Skaters competing only in our club meets should choose "Club Athlete". Skaters competing in AWG will also be competing in one or more meets outside so should choose "Provincial/Territorial Athlete". At least one parent per family is to register as a volunteer (no charge). This is required for anyone who assists at the CGC with mat set up etc. (which itself is required to help practices move along smoothly). Payment to SSC is by credit card.
2. Register with Whitehorse Rapids Speed Skating Club (WRSSC).

3. Complete payment of WRSSC Fees. Fees must be paid prior to stepping onto the ice.
Fees may be made by e-transfer to WRSSC at yukonspeedskating@gmail.com or by cheque with a previous arrangement.
Fee Schedule:
SS1

One session per week $300 ($180 for half season)

Two sessions per week $550 ($350 for half season)
SS2

Two sessions per week $700 ($420 for half season)

Three sessions per week $995 ($600 for half season)

SS2 fees include a coaching supplement
Equipment rentals

Skates $100 ($60 for half season)

Skinsuits $25 ($15 for half season)
Drop ins are welcome but must have SSC membership.

SS1 $15 per session (max of 10 per season)

Fall Camp November 21-23
To register for the camp please send us an email indicating that you/your skater will be attending and e-transfer the fee to yukonspeedskating@gmail.com
Fees
Camp fees help cover the additional ice rental and coaching fees for our guest coach.
SS1 $50
SS2 $75

All sessions are at CGC
*Note that these are ice times only.
*Warm-ups for SS2 group will take place 30 minutes before each ice session.
*Off-ice sessions may be held for T2T and up and will be determined by Friday evening.
